Novel South Capitol is thrilled to be home to ABC Pony, the newest eatery from renowned chef, innovator and restauranteur, Erik Bruner-Yang.

Born in Taiwan and raised in the States, Erik Bruner-Yang is a multi-James Beard finalist, and was named Starchef’s Rising Star D.C. Restauranteur in 2018. He has been credited with introducing D.C. to ramen with Toki Underground, creating a dynamic, flavor forward menu at Maketto and even re-imagining what a restaurant feels like with Brothers and Sisters.

ABC Pony follows this innovative tradition by focusing on the intersectionality between Italian and Asian cuisines, housed in a space inspired by late 80s and early 90s pop culture, creating a constant dialogue of community, culture and progress.

We invite you to visit and see how ABC Pony is yet another chapter to Novel South Capitol's rich experience.

  • ABC Pony is integrated with the Novel South Capitol lobby, creating an expansive café amenity that is also open to the public as a great neighborhood meeting place.

  • Coffee is a lot more than just a drink; it’s something happening.
